After the Round 1 at the Red Bull Ring it was clear to see that the performances from Enrico Fulgenzi Racing’s 991 GT3 Cup Cars were solid all the way trough.

Another step forward was required for Lausitzring’s Round 2, as it has been one of the few during the season without wild-cards coming from other championships, which means that he full time drivers can gain more points and build more gap in the Championship rush.

Ray Calvin (#290 – CAN) and Gabriel Rindone (#291 – UAE) used the two days of free practice in order to improve their knowledge and performance around the Lausitz Eurospeedway, as always under the Duties of Porsche Experience coach “Matze” Hoffsümmer.

Race One has been a dominant parade for Ray Calvin, who led the race from the very first corner and crossed the finish line first with an endless gap and gained the first win of the season for Enrico Fulgenzi Racing. Double podium for the team, as Gabby Rindone came third at the photo-finish after 14 laps fighting against Blom (P2).

Race 2 followed the same path: Ray Calvin went away since turn one and waved the group, while Rindone attacks Blom for P2 in the first half of the race.

Thanks to a better race craft from Gabby and some crucial set-up changes from the team Rindone managed to overtake Blom and get P2, before being penalized with a Drive-Trough that the stewards combined him after giving Blom a bump during the overtake. Rindone lost around 15 seconds and 3 places and closed the race in fifth.

It’s been overall a strong weekend for Enrico Fulgenzi Racing, which comes back home with three podiums and a lot of heavy points for the Championship run. Round Three is already coming, as i twill be in two weeks time in Imola and will host a new-entry in the EF Racing’s driver lineup.
