Porsche Carrera Cup Italia saw her Dobermann coming back full time in 2021, as Enrico Fulgenzi Racing went for the Championship Golpe during the season.

Missing the first two Misano rounds and having technical issues in Mugello’s races 3 and 4 made the championship comeback even steeper for Fulgenzi. Thanks to his experience and his fighting spirit the italian #17 came to the final round in Monza with championship hopes stilla live, thanks to his stunning pole positions, wins and podiums in Imola, Vallelunga and Franciacorta.

Friday’s free practice shown immediately what the key-point of the weekend would have been: weather has been unpredictable and changing all the way through the weekend, like in Rally Monte Carlo, and forced the teams to find a setup which could fit each weather condition as well as possible.

There was a lot of hype around Saturday’s qualifying, which sadly presented some unlucky events: Fulgenzi was stuck in traffic during his flying lap, and he didn’t manage to sign a fast timing during the session.

Race one showed once again the Dobermann’s Experience: 12th to 8th under an unstoppable rain.

4 more places recovered in a damp race 2, which meant a sweetbitter 4th place.

Enrico Fulgenzi Racing’s first complete campaign in Porsche Carrera Cup Italia is now in the archives, the team brought home 2 wins, 2 podiums and one pole position in both the categories.

A precious helping hand was given by the Michelin Cup’s Gentleman drivers Ray Calvin, Shintaro Akatsu and Gabriel Rindone, who made team grow a lot also in the AM class of the italian championship.
